ATTACHED
STAFF
District
Nurses - Telephone (020) 8656 0213
District nurses are in charge of a team of community nurses comprised
of staff nurses and an auxiliary nurse.
Each
district nurse has undergone further training to enable them to assess
the needs of patients in the home. In this setting they nurse patients
with acute and chronic conditions, the terminally ill and the housebound.
They take referrals from general practitioners, hospitals and self-referrals
and can be contacted on the above telephone number or via the doctors'
reception for advice as well as treatment.
MEDICAL/NURSING
STUDENTS
We
sometimes have nursing or medical students sitting in on consultations,
but please let us know if you would prefer to see the doctor or nurse
alone.
